- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial service prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will NOT be issued. This is a Request for Quote (RFQ) and the solicitation number is W81XWH-14-T-0262. This acquisition is 100% set aside for small businesses. The NAICS code covering this procurement is 511210 and the Small Business Size Standard is $35.5M. The Defense Centers of Excellence for Psychological Health and Traumatic Brain Injury (DcoE) requires the following: Procurement of maintenance renewal for service and support for the current Dell servers at the Defense Center of Excellence (DCoE), Crystal City, VA and Silver Spring, MD locations. Please see attached solicitation document W81XWH-14-T-0262 with incorporated provisions and clauses and the Statement of Work (SOW). This combined synopsis/solicitation will be acquired under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 52.211-6, Brand Name or Equal. Under each item listed below will be the brand name requested and the salient characteristics of equal items. The contractor shall provide DELL Silver Enterprise (7x24 Software Troubleshooting, Hardware Support maintenance services with a 4 hour Onsite response and support) for the products as configured below. This requirement has been reviewed and contains no functions that are inherently governmental functions. All support is strictly non-personal in nature. The products that require maintenance support are: 01 Hardware 01A Qty: 1 Location: Crystal City, Va Service Tag Number: BFM3ZH1 Description: Dell Power Edge 1950 01B Qty: 1 Location: Crystal City, VA Service Tag: Number: 84ZV3J1 Description: Dell Power Vault TL4000 01C Qty: 1 Location: Silver Spring, MD Service Tag Number: 94ZV3J1 Description: Dell Power Vault TL4000 Mission Essential Characteristics: 1.Shall be compatible with HP maintenance tools; 2.Shall be compatible with current USAMITC power on and power off scripts; 3.Shall be able to be monitored and maintained by utilizing current AMED\USAMITC monitoring tools; 4.Shall be compatible with AMED enterprise configuration management technologies The vendor shall provide the following maintenance services: Pre-Failure Alerting 7x24 Remote Hardware Support Premier Support dell.com 4-hour On-Site Support 30-Day Getting Started Helpline Next Business Day On-Site Service Software Support Resolution Pack The Contract Specialist (CS) is the sole point of contact for this acquisition once the RFQ is released. The due date for quotes will be June 25 by 4:00pm EST. Period of performance: The period of performance will be for a base period and one option year from the date of contract award. Quote Acceptance Period. The quote acceptance period is 90 days after the date set for receipt of quotes. The offeror shall make a clear statement in the signed offer that the quote is valid until this period has ended. The quote should be legible and should not exceed a total of 25 pages. The Offeror shall submit their quote as Firm Fixed Price.
