Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation number is VA786-14-Q-0197 and is issued as a Request for Quotations. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-66. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 561730 with a small business size standard of $7M. This requirement is a 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside (SDVOSB), and only qualified offers from SDVOSB concerns will be considered for award. Interested parties can submit quotes on the attached SF 1449. Please reference 52.212-1 for solicitation submission instructions. Questions regarding this announcement shall be directed to Mr. Derek C. Reed, Contracting Officer, 155 Van Gordon Street, Lakewood, CO 80228. Questions and quotes can be emailed to derek.reed@va.gov. The deadline for receipt of questions is June 20th, 2014-4:00PM MT, and the deadline for receipt of quotes is June 26th, 2014- 2:00 PM MT. Quoters must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) https://www.sam.gov to be eligible to receive award. In addition, quoters must have an active account and registered in www.sam.gov. The purchase order performance period will is 60 calendar days after notice to proceed, and an organized site visit has been scheduled for June 17, 2014-10:00 AM at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Road, San Antonio, Texas 78209. The point-of-contact for the site visit is Mr. Aubrey David who can be contacted at 210-805-2554. Quoters are encouraged to attend this one and only site visit as no other organized site visits will be held. The Government intends to issue a single award to the responsible offeror whose quote is the most advantageous to the Government considering Technical Acceptability and Price. It is the offeror's responsibility to furnish all information required in accordance with the solicitation to enable the Government to determine acceptability of the submitted offer. All work will be performed at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
