- Description
- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Galveston District Office requires a contract to provide pipeline dredging, deep draft to remove approximately 782,000 cubic yards, under Schedule No. 1 and 154,000 cubic yards for one (1) option, for a total of 936,000 cubic yards. This is for maintenance dredging of the main channel. This project will be strictly Federal maintenance dredging of the Texas City Main Channel, with placement in Shoal Point Placement Areas (SPPA) 3,4,5. The work is to be done in Texas City, Galveston County, Texas. The work in this Section consists of furnishing plant, labor, materials, equipment and performing the operations necessary for the removal of materials to the required locations, satisfactory disposal thereof, and other operations incidental thereto. Period of Performance is 70 calendar days for Schedule No. 1 with a production rate of approx. 15,000 cubic yards per calendar day. If Option one (1) is exercised it will add 15 more days to the Period Of Performance. The Solicitation issued will be for Firm-Fixed Price contract. The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. This is an UNRESTRICTED procurement. The Solicitation will be issued on or about 26 June 2014.
