- ***AMENDMENT #1 issued to add further instructions/clarifications for Thursday's mandatory site visit*** Solicitation/RFO announcement for The FAA Eastern Acquisition Service Area, Boston Acquisition Office, has a new construction effort for the NAVAID and Foundation Repair/Installation Project at Hanscom AFB, in Bedford, MA. Engineering/Facility Point of Contact (POC) will be John Al Arcese, 781-238-7926. The performance period, is twenty one (21) calendar days, after receipt of Notice to Proceed, inclusive of weekends. This project is set aside 100% for Small Business Concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 237990 - OTHER HEAVY AND CIVIL ENGINEERING CONSTRUCTION, with a size standard of $33.5 MILLION. The Request for Offer (RFO), including Statement of Work (SOW) and Wage Rates, are attached to this announcement. All documents are available in.pdf format and may be viewed with the applicable version of Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Acrobat Professional. The price range for this requirement is $100,000.00 to $250,000. The site visit is scheduled for this Thursday, 6/12/14 at 10:00AM EST, however you must be on base by 9:30AM EST in order to attend. You must contact Al Arcese by Wednesday morning (24 hours in advance) in order to RSVP & coordinate base access. Please limit your visit attendees to 2 personnel, and all personnel must have a vaild state-issued photo ID, preferable a Driver's License.
