- Sources Sought Synopsis: The 413th Contracting Support Brigade, Regional Contracting Office, Hawaii, is performing market research through this Sources Sought for an emergency service firm fixed price type contract. This is NOT A SOLICITATION for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding: (1) The availability and capability of qualified business sources able to perform the required work at Schofield Barracks, Island of Oahu, Hawaii; (2) What is the size of the capable business, and to identify whether they are large businesses or small businesses; HUBZone small businesses; service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses; 8(a) small businesses; veteran-owned small businesses; woman-owned small businesses; or small disadvantaged businesses; (3) Their size classification relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for the proposed acquisition. NAICS: 238210 Small Business Size Standard: $14.0 Million per annum. Requirement: The Contractor shall furnish all management, tools, supplies, equipment, materials, labor and transportation necessary to repair/replace the operating control circuit to allow for opening and closing of 46KV Oil-Blast Circuit Breaker (OCB) #4973 Schofield Barracks, Island of Oahu, Hawaii. The OCB will not operate via the operator control switch. The OCB #4973 is the main connect/disconnect point for Schofield Barracks' primary circuit from Hawaiian Electric Company's 46,000volt sub-transmission line. Work shall be performed in accordance with the manufacturer's standards, commercial practices, Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA), and all Federal and State regulations. Anticipated Period of Performance: Start as soon as possible, within the next month. Submission of Capability Statement/Information Sought: Interested, qualified, and equipped organizations should submit a tailored capability statement for this requirement: 1. Not to exceed 2 single-sided pages that clearly detail the ability and equipment available to perform the requirements of this notice in a quick time frame in within the next month. 2. On top of the first page of your capability statement should include: - Indication of current certified small business status (HUBZone, SDVOSB, 8(a), WOSB, etc.) or indication of large business - Organization's name - Point of contact - Address - DUNS number - Cage Code. Information Submission Instructions: All capability statements sent in response to this SOURCES SOUGHT notice must be submitted electronically (via email) to Ryan Lee, Contract Specialist at: ryan.g.lee.civ@mail.mil by Monday, June 16, 2014, 11:00 AM HST. All responses must be received by the specified due date and time in order to be considered. ANY RESPONSES RECEIVED AFTER THAT DATE AND TIME MAY NOT BE CONSIDERED.
