- Description
- This notice is posted in accordance with FAR 5.201(b)(1)(ii). USAID/South Sudan intends to non-competitively modify the existing Task Order with Tetra Tech ARD pursuant to AIDAR 706.302-70(b)(5). The planned cost extension is for one year for up to $2.3 million. The Contractor will continue current work as well as provide support on issues surrounding resettlement, land allocation, and land conflict resolution. Work for the cost extension can be broken-down by the following: • Component 1: Large-Scale Land Use Planning in Yambio Payam Utilizing the established land use planning methodology from Bor County, SRLG would work with the Yambio CLA and the State Ministry of Physical Infrastructure to implement large-scale land use planning in the four bomas in Yambio Payam where the project implemented the land demarcation and registration activity. • Component 2: Provide Support at the National Level Provide support for the passage of the draft National Land Policy and act as a resource for issues arising throughout the recovery process surrounding resettlement, land allocation, and land conflict resolution. • Component 3: Coordinate with the Feeder and Trunk Roads Project, FARM Project, and other USAID activities responding to the current crisis • Component 4: Bor County Institutional Support SRLG would build on the experience of the land authorities by facilitating knowledge transfer between the Yambio and Bor land authorities. • Component 5: Surveyor Training Establish a small scale surveyor training program based in Yambio that would work with the communities in Yambio as well as help with IDP resettlement.
