- Amendment 0005 The purpose of this amendment is to extend the date for submission of questions by Industry to 13 Feb 2014, 2:00 PM EST, to extend the RFP closing date to 21 Feb 2014, 2:00 PM EST, to provide answers to questions submitted by Industry, and to provide clarifications concerning Amendment Numbers issued by the Government versus Amendment Numbers listed in FedBizOpps. The purpose of this amendment is to answer questions submitted by Industry. The RFP closing date remains unchanged. The purpose of this amendment is to provide drawing information and answer questions submitted by Industry. The RFP closing date remains unchanged. The purpose of this amendment is to change the proposal response date, to establish a deadline for submission of questions by Industry, to make Distr D drawings available via the FedBizOpps web portal and to answer questions submitted by Industry to date. The RFP attached (on this date of 12/31/13) supersedes in its entirety the Draft RFP that was erroneously posted on 12/20/13. The Performance Specifications And Government Property Made Available documents originally provided as attachments are still applicable. The attached RFP reflects changes that differ from the Draft RFP as follows: Section F, Clause 52.211-8 TIME OF DELIVERY (JUN 1997), CLINs 0003 and 0004 are hereby changed from: 52 Weeks After First Article Test Approval (AFATA), to: 52 Weeks After Option Exercise. Section I, Clause 52.209-4 First Article Approval - Government Testing (SEP 1989) is replaced with Clause 52.209-4 Alt I, First Article Approval - Government Testing (SEP 1989) ALT I (Jan 1997). Alt I adds paragraph (j) - "The Contractor shall produce both the first article and the production quantity at the same facility (end of clause). Section L - Clause L43X is deleted in its entirety. The RFP closing date remains unchanged. ------------------------------------------- The purpose of this amendment is to add the "delivery to" address for Production Unit items CLIN 0003 and 0004. Clause D3 Delivery to Address (AUG 2006) is hereby added. The RFP closing date remains unchanged. Solicitation is hereby posted. Synopsis modification is to clarify requests for drawings. Due to restricted distribution statements, Drawings will not be posted on our website. Joint Certification Program (JCP) Registered Contractor Data Custodians may send an email request for the drawings to Nancy Van Gelder at nancy.vangelder@navy.mil citing RFP N66604-13-R-1542. Include Company Name, Address, JCP Registration Number, CAGE Code, JCP Data Custodian, Telephone Number and FedEx Acount ID number. The documents will be sent only if requested by the company’s DLA approved JCP Data Custodian, and after the company’s approved Data Custodian and JCP registration is confirmed.
