- COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION IAW FAR 12.603 SOLICITATION NUMBER: F3YCGM3351A001 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ), for a firm fixed type contract. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the most current Federal Acquisitions Circular. All responsible sources may submit a quotation in response to this solicitation, which shall be considered. A contract may be awarded resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation and is most advantageous to the Government. The Air Force Sustainment Center (AFSC/PZIO) at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma, intends to award one firm fixed price contract for the acquisition of item(s) listed below. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. The Government intends to select one contractor; however, the Government reserves the right to award no contract at all, depending on the quality of the proposals/quotes, prices submitted, and the availability of funds. Requirement Overview: Annual SuSE Linux Software License renewal for base year and four one-year option periods Period of Performance: 1 Mar 14-28 Feb 15 with four one-year option periods Place of Performance: Tinker AFB, OK Inspection and Acceptance: Inspection and acceptance of the item will be performed at the place of performance. Competition Requirement: Full and Open Competition NAICS Code: 423430 Size Standard: 100 employees Payment Information: Payments shall be made for items accepted by the Government that have been delivered to the delivery destination. Award will be conducted under the provisions of FAR Part 12, Commercial Items, and FAR 13.5, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: (1) Technical: quote must provide pricing for the following: 0001- SuSE Linux Enterprise Server for IBM zSeries (per engine) 1-year priority subscription (01 March 2014 - 28 Feb 2015) 1001- SuSE Linux Enterprise Server for IBM zSeries (per engine) 1-year priority subscription (01 March 2015 - 29 Feb 2016) 2001- SuSE Linux Enterprise Server for IBM zSeries (per engine) 1-year priority subscription (01 March 2016 - 28 Feb 2017) 3001- SuSE Linux Enterprise Server for IBM zSeries (per engine) 1-year priority subscription (01 March 2017 - 28 Feb 2018) 4001- SuSE Linux Enterprise Server for IBM zSeries (per engine) 1-year priority subscription (01 March 2018 - 28 Feb 2019) (2) Price: award will be made to the lowest priced technically acceptable (LPTA) offeror Quote Submission Information (emailed quotes are preferred): Offerors may submit quotes in their standard format.
