- Description
- The Bureau of Reclamation intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with the California Department of Fish and Game (CDFG) for the Operation and Maintenance of the Trinity River Fish Hatchery. The work consists of: 1.) Operation and Maintenance of the fish hatchery, including all structures and facilities situated thereon, and all equipment, tools, and supplies associated with the work; 2.) Production of juvenile fish to meet annual mitigation production goals; 3.) Release and distribution of the annual fish production; 4.) Collect eggs from anadromous fish stocks, export if excess, import if necessary to meet goals; and 5.) Creation of annual written plans for the operation, maintenance, and management of the hatchery This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR Part 15. Only one responsible source is reasonable available because the State would only provide permits for Bureau of Reclamation (BOR) Fish Hatchery to the California Department of Fish And Wildlife. This requirement is being advertised under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 541990, with a small business size standard of $14 million. All responsible sources may submit a response. A determination by the Government to not compete this requirement will be based on responses to this notice and is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A solicitation will not be issued. Interested firms may identify their interest in writing to the Government point of contact. Responses to this notice must received no later than 4:00 pm PST, 18 February 2014.
