- SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory is operated by Stanford University for the Department of Energy. As a management and operating contractor, subcontracts awarded by the Laboratory are not Federal procurements, and are not directly subject to the Federal Acquisition Regulations in 48 CFR. Nonetheless, certain Federal laws, Executive Orders, and regulations may affect our DOE approved purchasing system, as required by statute, regulation, or contract terms and conditions. Sources Sought for: Custom Fabrication of Silicon Nitride Membrane Devices Specifications and Technical Evaluation criteria are as follows: <<Design A: Frame size and thickness: 5.5mmx3mm, 200um +- 10um (Window has a three-sided frame) Membrane: Silicon Nitride Film Thickness: 2,000nm +- 20nm Windowns size: 1.5mmx2mm +-30um Design B: Frame size and thickness: 5mmx3mm, 200um+-10um (Window has a four-sided frame) Membrane: Silicon Nitride Film thickness: 2,000nm+-20nm Window size: 1.5mmx2mm +-30um>> Source selection is based on lowest priced technically acceptable method.
