- In accordance with FAR Subpart 6.302-1, The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to award a sole source contract to National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), Alexandria, VA, to facilitate NAVSEA's participation in the 2014 NSBE Convention. NSBE is the sole convention producer. This event promotes career opportunities in engineering, science, and technology to historically underrepresented groups in STEM fields. The NAVSEA Enterprise Talent Management Office has identified this event as a high visibility event that aligns with the NAVSEA mission statement. (see numbered note 22)
