- Responses to Questions Responses to Questions dated 12 Feb 2014 added Solicitation Amendment P00001 dated 7 Feb 2014 added Amended Notice Description on 6 Feb 2014 The 11th Contracting Squadron intends to procure services for a Computer Support Specialist at Joint Base Andrews Air Force Base, MD. This will be a 100% set-aside for small businesses. This requirement will result in a firm fixed price contract with one 12-month base period and four (4) 12-month option periods. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541511 with a small business size standard of $25,000,000. There will be no public bid opening. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 6 February 2014 on the Federal Business Opportunities web page at http://www.fbo.gov. Paper copies will not be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. In order for contractors to conduct business with the Department of Defense, the contractor must provide registration information to the System for Award Management Registration (SAM). Information concerning SAM registration requirements may be viewed via the Internet at http://www.sam.gov or by calling the Federal Service Desk at 866-606-8220. All offerors must be SAM- registered prior to receiving an award. y submission of a quote, a vendor acknowledges the requirement to be registered in the SAM database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from the solicitation. When available, the solicitation documents for this project will be accessible via FedBizOpps at www.fbo.gov. No CD's or hard copies will be available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this pre-solicitation notice if necessary. This notice does not obligate the Government to pay any bid/quote preparation costs.
