- J&A In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, FSIS Eastern Laboratory intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to Illumina, Inc. for the installation of MiSeq software and integrated system for automated generation of DNA clonal clusters by bridge amplification, sequencing, primary and secondary analysis. This software will allow us to facilitate the adoption of sequencing technology following The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention methodology. J&A (without signature page) is attached. Please submit your interest in response to this notice, and a description of your capabilities and past experiences to perform these requirements. This is not a request for quotations or an announcement of a forthcoming solicitation. The Government does not intend to pay for information received. All interested parties must respond within five calendar (5) days from the date of this notice. Written responses must provide clear and concise documentation indicating your firm's capability to meet the requirement. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. When responding to this announcement, respondents should refer to Announcement# 670399. If after Wednesday, February 19, 2014, no viable responses have been received in response to this announcement; USDA/FSIS shall negotiate solely Illumina, Inc.
