- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) Philadelphia, intends to enter into negotiations, on a sole source basis, with Siemens Government Technologies, Inc. 1881 Campus Commons Drive, Suite 300 Reston, VA 20191-1519. This procurement is to purchase Siemens's Imageware Modeling Suite and NX Advanced Designer Bundle License. This purchase is part of the software routine annual maintenance. Based on market research, Siemen's is the one and only source that can meet the government's requirements and the proposed action cannot be processed on the basis of full and open competition. The Government, therefore, intends to solicit and negotiate this requirement under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1. A Firm Fixed Price contract is anticipated. The applicable NAICS Code for this requirement is 511210. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any and all responses must be received within 15 days of this synopsis notice. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition based on the responses received to this synopsis is solely within the discretion of the Government.
