- NOTICE TO ENTER INTO A SUCCEEDING LEASE INTEREST SOUGHT The USDA Forest Service, Kemmerer Ranger Station currently occupies office space and related space in a building under lease in Kemmerer, Wyoming that will be expiring in 2015. The Forest Service is seeking to lease approximately 4,936 contiguous rentable square feet of office which must yield a minimum of 3,856 contiguous ANSI/BOMA Office area square feet (OASF); 3,203 rentable square feet of warehouse and yield no less than 9 secured government parking spaces. The lease term requirement is for 20 years; 10 firm and 2 five-year automatic renewals cancellable with a 90 day written notice. The space must be available for occupancy by January 1, 2016. The delineated area is the city limits of Kemmerer, Wyoming. The Forest Service is considering alternative space ONLY if economically advantageous. The Forest Service will use the information it receives in response to this advertisement as a basis to develop a cost-benefit analysis and to determine whether to compete the lease requirement or pursue a sole source justification to remain at its current location. In making this determination, the Forest Service will consider, among other things, the availability of alternate space that potentially can satisfy the Forest Service's requirements, as well as costs likely to be incurred through relocating, such as physical move costs, replication of tenant improvements and telecommunications infrastructure, and non-productive agency downtime. The Forest Service's decision regarding whether to relocate will be based, in part, on information received in response to this announcement.
