- This is a synopsis/pre-solicitation notice for commercial supplies as prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 5.207, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. NSWCCD Philadelphia seeks to award a firm fixed price (FFP) contract. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD) Philadelphia has established a requirement for 36 thermocouple harness kits under the technical directive Gas Turbine Change (GTC) 96. Each kit consists of the following: 3-Probe Harness - quantity of 3 (GE P/N L44722P02; Ametek P/N 8EH2ABT1; JGW P/N TLD 978-4-14; Harco Labs P/N 26493-000) 2-Probe Harness - quantity of 1 (GE P/N L44721P02; Ametek P/N 8EH2ABR1; JGW P/N TLD 977-4-14; Harco Labs P/N 26492-000) Probe - quantity of 11 (GE P/N L44830P01; Ametek P/N 8TC34BAG1; JGW P/N TLD 883-3-14C; Harco Labs P/N 25075-000) The required delivery of the supply items is 4 kits to be delivered 30 days after date of award and to continue with 4 kits every month thereafter until all thirty-six (36) kits are delivered. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 334419 with a size standard of 500 employees. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate on a limited source basis with only four (4) known qualifying sources listed below under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1): 1) Ametek, Inc., 50 Fordham Road, Wilmington, MA 01887-2177 (Cage 97424) 2) J.G.W. LTD, 1801 Robert Fulton Drive, Reston, VA 20191-4347 (Cage 1C8B0) 3) Harco Laboratories, Inc., 186 Cedar Street, Branford, CT 06405-6011 (Cage 00060) 4) Turbine Technics, Inc., 1200 S. Rogers Circle, Boca Raton, FL 33487 (Cage 49C77) Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and does not constitute a solicitation. However, all proposals received within fifteen (15) days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
