- Description
- Poplar River Drawings update. The USDA Forest Service, Superior National Forest, TofteRanger District has a requirement to replace the existing triple wooden culvert on Poplar River (FR 337-MP1.4) with a single lane treated timber bridge on a treated pile foundation. Perform additional roadwork to raise existing roadway to meet required bridge elevation. This project is located on the Tofte Ranger District (Cook County, MN) on the Superior National Forest. The contractor(s) shall provide all expertise, labor, supervision, services, equipment, tools, supplies, and permits (when and if required), transportation, and incidentals necessary to replace the box culver, and perform additional roadwork. The Contractor shall use products and materials that promote energy conservation, pollution prevention, waste reduction, use of recovered materials, that are environmentally preferable, and are made from biobased materials (e.g. dust suppressants, erosion control materials, engine oils, lubricants, greases, hydraulic fluids) to the maximum extent possible without jeopardizing the intended end use or detracting from the overall quality delivered. Price range is between $200,000 and $300,000. Award is contingent upon availability of funds. The solicitation and related documents will ONLY be available for download at http://fbo.gov/ on or about March 4th, 2014. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed out. Interested vendors should register to receive notifications through this site. In order to receive award under this RFP the successful offeror shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM), and have completed the online representations and certifications (www.orca.gov) data base. NAICS: 237310, the size standard is $33.5 Million. This project is being solicited as a 100% set aside for Small Business. All work is to comply with local, Federal and State codes and is subject to Department of Labor wage rates. Solicitation Number AG-63A9-S-14-0015. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the Forest Service. This is a synopsis, the full solicitation documents including specifications will be issued on or about March 4th, 2014.
