Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses of those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-72, Defense Circular Number 20140130, and Air Force Acquisition Circular 2013-0327. The NAICS code is 332311 for this requirment. The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price type contract. In accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004, Alt A Required System For Award Management: To be eligible to receive an award interested parties must be registered in the System for Award Management database; reference www.sam.gov for details on how to register. It is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation. If this should occur, the Government will not be liable for solicitation preparation costs or any other costs incurred. The right to make no award is reserved in the event it is advantages to the Government to do so. SCOPE Contractor Responsibilities: The contractor shall provide all equipment, tools, materials, vehicles, personnel, labor, supervision, and management to completely dismantle and remove the aircraft sun shades installed at the 309 Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group (AMARG) aircraft process in the area (flush farm). The contractor shall disassemble a section of sunshades consisting of 3 each small aircraft parking spots. Remove all parts of the sunshade from AMARG and any debris disassembly may have caused. Repair any concrete damage cause by sunshade erection and or disassembly. (See Attachment 1: PWS). All work will be accomplished at the 308 AMARG facility located at 4860 S Superior Ave Bldg 7328, Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, AZ 85707-4369. Proposed teardown processes must be accomplished in accordance with all applicable regulations and industry standards as outlined in the attached Performance Based Work Statement (PWS) Offerors shall submit their quote on letterhead stationery, provide unit prices with a grand total. THE GOVERNMENT WILL NOT ACCEPT INCOMPLETE PROPOSALS. Offers will be evaluated on price and technical acceptability. The Contracting Officer is not responsible for locating or obtaining any information not identified in the offer. If an offer cannot comply with every requirement, that offer will not be technically acceptable, and therefore will not be considered. To be considered technically acceptable the offeror's proposal must demonstrate a clear understanding of the PWS requirements. Award will be based on the lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) offer.
