- The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) intends to issue a sole source firm-fixed price purchase order to renew software maintenance for PMDF software to Process Software LLC. The period of performance will be 12 months from the date of award. The proposed acquisition consists of the following Contract Line Items Numbers (CLINs): CLIN 0001: (Quantity 1) PMDF - 7x24 Maintenance Minimum Service Fee CLIN 0002: (Quantity 1) PMDF - MTA VMS Standard Maintenance - 5,000 Messages (Test) CLIN 0003: (Quantity 1) PMDF - MTA VMS Standard Maintenance - 175,000 Messages (Disaster Recovery) CLIN 0004: (Quantity 1) PMDF - MTA VMS Standard Maintenance - 175,000 Messages (Production) This purchase order will be made on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1 (a) - only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The sole source rationale for this action is that the PMDF software and maintenance is proprietary to Process Software LLC. Process Software LLC is the sole developer of the PMDF software and has no authorized resellers. Place of delivery: The products described herein will be used at Government facilities. Supplemental to those facilities are secure locations. Any responsible sources who believe they can provide the required software maintenance may submit a written capability statement, via email, by 3:00 pm EST on December 24, 2013. Telephone inquiries will be considered non-responsive. No solicitation will be issued. If no responses are received the award will be made to Process Software LLC.
