- Information Technology (IT) Support Norfolk Ship Support Activity (NSSA), P.O. Box 215, Portsmouth, VA, 23705-0215, is seeking to identify sources to furnish the necessary Information Technology support services to NSSA. Efforts include, but may not be limited to: Maintenance Data Systems support, Business Operations systems support, collection/organization/evaluation of functional and training metrics, data entry, data and financial process analysis, website design/maintenance, and database and system administration. The work will be performed primarily at locations in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia, with the potential for work OCONUS. NAICS code 541513 applies. Small Business size standard is $25,500,000. Potential sources are notified that the Limitations on Subcontracting clause (FAR 52.219-14) will be included in any RFP set aside for small business concerns. Interested parties must submit a written expression of interest to the address stated below not later than January 3, 2014. Specifically address your qualifications or abilities as they apply to the proposed effort. Sources are also requested to identify any on-going Government contract vehicles they may have for the same or similar work. Please include the name and number of the on-going contract, contract scope, contract type, period of performance, contract deliverables, dollar thresholds and limitations, the issuing Government agency, and the name and telephone number of the Contracting Officer. This contract information should specifically address your experience and capability to perform the following including but not limited to: 1) Coordinating with NSSA management to determine priorities for contract funding, analyzing databases for enhancements and upgrades, creating documentation in support of metric studies 2) Information Technology (IT) infrastructure management and life cycle support for NSSA including network administration/management, hardware operations, and system administration and IT services support, 3) Website design and maintenance. This request is for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) nor does its issuance restrict the Government as to the ultimate acquisition approach. The Government will not reimburse the contractor for any cost associated with preparing or submitting a response to this notice. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION.
