- Description
- The subject requirement is for the of Non NSNs spare items and NSNs that are not stock by DLA and are coded to 1224 different cage codes (Commercial And Government Entity Code) for automotive parts and maintenance hardware items for automotive parts. The purpose of this acquisition is to establish a Prime Vendor to perform logistic support to military customers by locating and providing replacement parts primarily from the commercial market, as well as to provide technical assistance to the customer in identifying available parts. An Indefinite Quantity Long-Term Contract with a three year base year and 2 option years is anticipated. The total duration base plus option years shall not exceed 5 years. Small Business Size Standard is 750 for NAICs 336390.Solicitation will be 100 Set-aside for Small Business. Buy American clause 252,225-7001 applies. The solicitation will be available on 12/16/2013 at https://dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rfp/. Hard copies are not available. Increments and delivery schedule will be noted on the RFP. FOB Destination is required. Inspection/Acceptance requirements will be noted on RFP. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote, which shall be considered. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, past performance, delivery, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. Interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.
