AMC: 2/B L/I 0001 -Maximum Best Estimated Quantity (BEQ) of 130 (3 year basic/requirements). CEMS Data Tracking Required. History: SPRTA112M0169 awarded July 25, 2012, 4 each from Canadian Commercial Corporation. Mandatory Language: Note: Item Description: Cylindrical Roller Bearing; Dimensions: 5.7500" L; 5.7500" W; 1.2500"H; 3.7000 lb WT. Item Function: Bearing supports and aligns the rear end of compressor. An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the Program Director or Contracting Officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government Personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposal or in the source selection process. The rights to use the data needed to purchase this part from additional sources are not owned by the Government and cannot be purchased, developed, or otherwise obtained. Drawing 5042T12 is proprietary to General Electric Company Cage 99207. Written procedure will be used for this solicitation. No telephone requests. Only written or faxed requests received directly from the requestors are acceptable. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered. It is suggested that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described procurement make contact with the firms(s) listed: General Electric Company (Cage 99207)/FAG Aerospace (Cage36069).
