- Description
- The Department of Interior, Interior Business Center, Acquisition Services Directorate-Boise, ID intends to issue a solicitation to obtain fully Contractor-operated and maintained on-call (OC) fixed wing flight services to transport personnel and/or cargo in support of Government natural resource missions in the Conterminous 48 States. Mission activities may include, but are not limited to, air tactical operations, aerial fire reconnaissance and detection, law enforcement limited to nonthreatening surveillance and reconnaissance, and other administrative and related resource activities. The performance period is from date of award to December 31, 2014 with three one-year options. The Government anticipates awarding multiple contracts from this solicitation at various locations throughout the Conterminous 48 States. This solicitation is set-aside 100 percent for participation by small business concerns under NAICS code 481211 which has a small business size standard of 1,500 employees or less. The Contractor shall possess Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certificates issued under 14 CFR Part 135. The apparent successful offeror(s) must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM), formerly known as CCR, in order to be awarded a contract. The solicitation is anticipated to be issued on or about December 26, 2013.
