Description
The resulting contract will be a firm fixed price requirements type contract with delivery order provisions. On behalf of Joint Personal Property Shipping Office (JPPSO) Southeast, NAVSUP Fleet Logistic Center, Jacksonville, FL intends to solicit utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures (FAR13.5) on a 100% Small Business Set-Aside basis, a packing, containerization and local drayage of direct procurement method (DPM) personal property shipments for the Corpus Christi, Texas area. The contractor will furnish all personnel, equipment, facilities, supplies, services and materials, except as specified in the performance work statement (PWS) as government-furnished, for the preparation of personal property of Department of Defense (DOD) personnel for shipment and/or storage and related services through the DPM. The period of performance will consist of a base year and four (1) one-year options. This requirement is identified under NAICS 484210 with the size standard of $25 million. The anticipated start date is 01 July 2014. The solicitation resulting from this announcement will be available on or about 10 January 2014 to interested parties via NECO at website: https://www.neco.navy.mil/ The Government will not distribute a hard copy of this solicitation or amendment documents. Prospective Offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring the NECO website for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offerors to access the posted documents. No telephone or FAX requests will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or faxed to Offerors. Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to receiving a government awarded contract.
