- The Department of Interior, National Park Service, Yellowstone National Park, is seeking interested sources that can perform repairs on four Caterpillar D7 dozers. Repairs would include the following work broken out by each model: Caterpillar Model D7G Serial number 92V9931 Full Cab and ROPS; Inspect steer clutches and brakes, replace cracked exhaust manifold, Full Service. (Change engine and hydraulic oil and filters), Tune Engine. (Engine performance set to altitude 5500 up to 11000 feet above sea level), Check engine stall. 1985 Caterpillar Model D7G Serial number 3GF00228 Full Cab and ROPS; Turn track pins if within Caterpillar specifications, Inspect steer clutches and brakes, Full Service (Change engine and Hydraulics oil and filters), Tune Engine. (Engine performance set to altitude 5500 up to 11000 feet above sea level), Check engine stall. 1981 Caterpillar Model D7F Serial number 61G638 Full Cab and ROPS; Full service. (Change engine and hydraulic oil and all filters, Tune Engine). (Engine performance set to altitude 5500 up to 11000 feet above sea level), Inspect steer clutches and brakes, Check engine stall. 1992 Caterpillar Model D7H Serial number 79Z04469 Full Cab and ROPS; Cab repairs: Door seals, door latches, door hold brackets, cab filters, dash lights, window latches, lever sticks, pedal drop when applied. Body damage: Flood light guard bent, grill bolts missing, cab covers bent, cover on tyranny filters bent replace or fix all bent parts, Hydraulic Cylinders: Rod end of tip cylinder loose, Dozer Trunnion on hard nose loose (Re-shim), Ripper cylinders Re-seal (no bearings or pins) leaks around rod, Hydraulic Hoses: Repair hose part# 713155 & 316472, Fuel Tank: Repair fuel tank replace both end plates, Recondition Equalizer bar, New pins and bearings (no machine work), Air condition system: New belts, Hydraulic system: Low pump pressure clean tank and adjust system after oil and filter change possible pump replacement. Water Pump: Slight seep in weep hole(R&I), Full service: (Change engine and hydraulic oil and filters),Engine Tune: (Engine performance set to altitude 5500 up to 11000 feet above sea level), Check engine stall. All repair parts must be replaced with Original Caterpillar Replacement Parts. All repairs must be performed by an Authorized Caterpillar repair facility. All repairs must have a standard shop warranty of 6 months. All warranty repairs work performed on equipment Contractor must provide transportation cost to and from Yellowstone National Park Mammoth Wyoming 82190. The work shall be done at the vendors facility. Performance period shall be within 45 calendar days. The NAICS code for this procurement is 811310, with a size standard of $7M.
