- Description
- The 502nd Contracting Squadron at JBSA-Lackland, TX intends to award a Sole Source contract to American Association of Blood Banks, Inc., 8101 Glenbrock Road, Bethesda, Maryland, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The proposed contract action is for membership and accreditation from American Association of Blood Banks, Inc., on a sole source basis due to mandatory standards set forth in AFI 44-105, The Air Force Blood Program. The NAICS Code is 813920 and the small business standard size is $14M. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by the agency. Proposals must be received not later than 13 December 2013, 12:00 p.m. (Central Standard Time). A determination by the Government not to compete this proposal procurement action based on responses received is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for information submitted in response to this notice. Information received will be considered solely within the discretion of the government.
