- "A copy of the solicitation will be available via the DLA Internet Bid Board System at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP on the same issue date cited in the solicitation. Choose the RFP you wish to download. Solicitations are in portable document format (PDF). To download and view these documents you will need the latest version of Adobe Arobat Reader. This software is available free at http://www.adobe.com. A paper copy of the solicitation will not be available to requestors. The solicitation issue date is December 18, 2013." A Request for Proposal (RFP), SPE4A7-14-R-1519, was issued to establish a Definite Quantity Firm Fixed Price type contract; on NSN 1560-01-221-1283, Stringer, Aircraft for 2 each. Item is Critical Application, Configuration controlled, and Export Controlled Applies. Item is not a commercial. Item is in accordance with Basic Drawing NR 76301 68A332038 dtd 06/02/1995 part number 68A332038-2011. Synopsis is required as request is suitable for competitive acquisition for 100% SBSA. Estimated solicitation issue date December 18, 2013 with respond due date January 17, 2014. The need arrival date (NAD) is 11/26/2013; with an estimated award date (EAD) on 3/31/2014. Based on the NAD (Need Award Date) - EAD (Estimated Award Date) - FAT= RDD (Required Delivery Date); the time yields a number less Than 90 days, therefore, the acquisition specialist utilized a 25% reduction of the historical PLT (700 days) as delivery objective at 525 days for production 2 each. A Government First Article requires delivery @ 30 days after received order; with additional 135 days for Government Test/Evil for total delivery objective @ 690 DAFAA. Production to be delivers at FOB Point @ Destination with Inspection & Acceptance at Origin. Progress Payments are authorized for this purchase. Reverse Auction will be conducted for final proposal revision and price validity.
