- 14RJQ24_syn This solicitation is being posted to Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov/. It is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet. The Government anticipates awarding a 5-year, Firm-Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for Joint Biological Point Detection System (JBPDS) Biological Agent Warning Sensor (BAWS) laser refurbishment to: JDS Uniphase (JDSU), 430 N. McCarthy Blvd, Milpitas, CA 95035-5116, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements". This action will be done by utilizing FAR Part 13 and FAR Part 12. This procurement is for a minimum of 1 refurbishment and a maximum of 20 refurbishments. The FOB point shall be FOB destination: NSWC Crane. Inspection and acceptance will be at destination. To be eligible for award, contractors must be properly registered in the Government System for Award Management database (SAM). Offerors may obtain information on SAM registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-866-606-8220, or via the Internet at www.sam.gov. A formal solicitation will not be issued. Interested parties may contact the POC below. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed.
