- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center, Training Systems Division, Orlando, FL intends to procure a follow-on requirement to the existing cost-plus-fixed-fee (CPFF) indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) bridge contract (N61340-13-D-0004), which provides Production Support Services (PSS) in support of Fleet Readiness Center Southeast (FRCSE) Jacksonville, FL and its remote sites. PSS provides logistical services in support of Depot Level Maintenance (DLM) effort by providing operational management of warehouses, inventory and storage of aircraft parts, production of tool kits for maintenance, external support to the In-Service-Repair Program, operation and management of mega centers, environmental support and equipment management functions, and transportation of materials and components from one point in the maintenance process to the next. The types of aircraft inclusive of components requiring PSS include, but are not limited to, the following: EA-6B, F/A-18, H-60, P-3, P-8, E-2, C-2, S-3, T-6, T-34, T-44 and T-45. A CPFF IDIQ contract with a five-year ordering period is anticipated. This procurement is a competitive small business set-aside. The estimated number of hours to be ordered under this IDIQ is 2,671,413. A separate written solicitation N61340-14-R-0003 for PSS including SOW and attachments will be issued as a Request for Proposals on or after 29 November 2013. When it is released it will be available electronically at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. The FSC code is MIGZ and the NAICS code is 561210. The closing date will be notified in the solicitation issued.
