- Brand Name Justification This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this requirement is SBAHQ-14-XX-0011 and is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-70. This will be a fixed price supply contract; total small business set-aside; NAICS code is 334210 with a small business size standard of 1,000. The Small Business Administration Processing and Distribution Center at Fort Worth, TX has a requirement for CISCO card blades compatible with Cisco Model WS-C4507R-E (Cisco 4507 series switch) and Cisco Model WS-C6506-E (Cisco 6506 series switch). This is a Brand Name procurement IAW FAR 13.106-1(b). Substitute products will not be accepted. The SBA has granted a class waiver to the non-manufacturer rule for this procurement under NAICS 334210 and PSC 5805 - Data Communications Equipment (e.g., Bridges, Gateways, Routers) Manufacturing. The parts requested below are REPLACEMENT PARTS for already functioning equipment. No additional parts, other what is being solicited, are required. To be considered your quote must include a statement your company is an authorized Cisco Channel Partner and provide the documents issued by an authorized Cisco agent with your quotation. The products must be covered by a valid Cisco warranty.
