- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) located in Mather, CA requires contractual services to provide medical physicist services in support of the Radiation Safety Program. Satellite offices are located at the VA Outpatient Clinic in Martinez, Redding, Chico, Oakland, Mare Island and McClellan California. All work is performed on site at the VA facilities listed in Appendix 1. The contractor shall furnish all necessary supervision and qualified competent personnel to perform the service as specified within the statement of work (SOW). The contract period will consist of a base period with an additional four option years. The solicitation will be for commercial items prepared in accordance with the subparts in Federal Acquisition Regulation 12 and evaluated in accordance with the procedures of FAR Part 13.106. The procurement will be a 100% Small Business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 621399 with a size standard of $7 million. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be available on or about December 3, 2013 with quotes being due on or before December 9, 2013. The solicitation will be posted to www.fbo.gov. Any amendments or additional information issued to this solicitation will also be available at the FBO website.
