Description
FOR MORE INFORMATION PLEASE CONTACT: Scott Mahoney (443) 395-4769 scott.mahoney2@us.army.mil **You must respond NO LATER than the Respond Date and Time This is Market Research to locate potential sources that would be able to deliver production representative adaptive 208 VAC 3 phase 24,000 Btu/Hr 400 Hz Patriot unique ECUs (built IAW specification A3341937 Rev. B) by no later than (NLT) seven (7) months after contract award, in support of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) requirements. Sources must be able to demonstrate knowledge of the operational environment and multiple Patriot shelters that this ECU will need to properly function within, and be able to verify/validate with appropriate testing (Pre Production and First Article). Production units must be able to perform according to item spec, providing no less than 24,000 Btu capacity within all of the varying Patriot Shelter environments. Production units must run at 400 Hz and not use variable frequency drives (or similar components). This is a follow on to Market Surveys 5245-1, 5405-1, 5406-1, and 5474-1. Detailed technical data for the manufacture, testing, and acceptance of these items are available from the Army POC (Mr. Mahoney). There is a minimum requirement for up to 156 each ECUs, plus an additional quantity of up to 6 ECUs for use in qualification and reliability testing for a total of 162 ECUs. Suppliers capable of furnishing this unit must so indicate, by writing via email to scott.mahoney2@us.army.mil. The response must include production lead time, production capacity by month, surge capacity, part availability (in years), ranges for price breaks if applicable, and/or any other information that could affect the acquisition, supply, and delivery of the ECUs. Suppliers must include P&A (including the cost of the design and testing efforts) for the ECU in a unit cost price. Successful suppliers must be able to warrant that their item will perform satisfactorily IAW specification A3341937 Rev. B. REQUIRED INFORMATION: 1.Capability of Supplier to deliver production representative ECUs (IAW Item Spec. A3341937 Rev. B) by NLT 7 months after contract award 2.Production Lead Time 3.Production capacity by month (to include surge capacity) 4.Price and Availability (cost of design and test included in unit cost, and range pricing) 5.Demonstrate sufficient supply of ECU parts to meet delivery and part availability IAW specification A3341937 Rev.
