- SECURITY PERIMETER FENCE - USCG SECTOR NEW YORK SOLICITATION ISSUE DATE: 12/18/13. The contractor shall provide all labor material, equipment, transportation, supervision, and disposal necessary for construction of a metal fence around the perimeter of the base which includes brick piers at the main entry gate, operable gates for vehicles, operable gates for pedestrians, site lighting at access points, a manned guard booth, and an electronic security system. This invitation for bid is issued pursuant to FAR Part 14, and in accordance with FAR Part 19.5 is 100% set-aside for Small Business concerns. The applicable NAICS code is 238990 and the size standard is $14 million. The magnitude of construction range of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. This solicitation will be issued subject to the availability of funds. The government will reserve the right to cancel the procurement either prior to or after the scheduled closing date. Bid, payment, and performance bonds will be required. Solicitation packages will be available on or about 12/18/2013. The bid opening date is scheduled for 01/17/2014 at 2:00 pm. All relevant solicitation documents, including specifications and drawings may be accessed for download beginning on the date of issue at the following site: www.fbo.gov.
