- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers is soliciting Requests for Quotes for 100 Stanchions with parts. The solicitation number W912ES-14-T-0010 is issued as a Request for Quotes. The solicitation will be issued in accordance with FAR Part 12, and evaluated in accordance with FAR Part 13. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers anticipates a firm fixed-price contract. The quote shall include the supply and delivery of 100 Stanchions with parts. Physical Support Branch, Dredge Goetz, requests the purchase of 100 pipe stanchions for floating pipeline pontoons. The stanchions will be used to support 45' lengths of steel spiral welded 21 quote mark outside diameter dredge pipe. These stanchions will be welded to the steel deck of floating pontoons 3 per pontoon. Government labor will be used for the installation of the stanchions. All pipe stanchions shall be built per the supplied drawing. Vendor shall supply 4 nuts, bolts and lock washers per stanchion, fasteners are identified in the drawing. Vendor shall include delivery with their proposal. Delivery Address: Fountain City Service Base, 431 North Shore DR, Fountain City WI 54629. Stanchions may be delivered anytime after award however, 24 Stanchions shall be delivered no later than 2 weeks after contract award, 24 shall be delivered no later than 4 weeks after contract award, 24 shall be delivered no later than 6 weeks after contract award, 24 shall be delivered no later than 8 weeks after contract award, and the final 4 Stanchions shall be delivered no later than 10 weeks after contract award. Delivery shall be coordinated with Keith Graham, Plant and Facility Manager (651-290-5141, 612-770-6455 cell). Hours of operation are 0700-1530 Monday - Friday, closed weekends and Holidays. The full solicitation with clauses will be posted with this announcement. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-20. The provisions and clauses incorporated into this solicitation are those in effect at the time of publication. This solicitation incorporates one or more solicitation provisions by reference, with the same force and effect as if they were given in full text. The quoter is cautioned that the listed provisions may include blocks that must be completed by the quoter and submitted with their quotation. The solicitation is set-aside 100% for small business concerns and the size standard is 500 employees. The associated NAICS Code is 332312. This solicitation is issued as a request for quote. Quoters must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) located at www.sam.gov prior to contract award. Interested sources who submit data are responsible for appropriately marking information if it is proprietary in nature. A determination by the government to not award based on the responses to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the government.
