- "A copy of the solicitation will be available via the DLA Internet Bid Board System at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP on the same issue date cited in the solicitation. Choose the RFP you wish to download. Solicitations are in portable document format (PDF). To download and view these documents you will need the latest version of Adobe Arobat Reader. This software is available free at http://www.adobe.com. A paper copy of the solicitation will not be available to requestors. The solicitation issue date is December 17, 2013." A Request for Proposal (RFP), SPE4A7-14-R-1605, was issued to establish a Definite Quantity Firm Fixed Price type contract; on NSN 1660-01-392-6159, Duct Assembly Air for 10 each. Item is not Critical Application, neither commercial. Item is Configuration Control and Export Controlled does not Applies. Item is in accordance with Boeing Company; Cage 76301, Part Number 75B508304-101. Unrestricted request with solicitation respond due date 01/16/2014. The need arrival date (NAD) is 09/29/2013; with an estimated award date (EAD) on 03/17/2014. Based on the NAD-EAD-FAT the time yields a number less than 90 days, therefore, the acquisition specialist utilized a 25% reduction of the historical PLT (418) as the delivery objective. Government First Article (2each) requirement delivery at 120 DARO, additional 60 days for government testing & evaluation and request 313 days delivery for production on 10 units for 493 days total. Delivery requested at FOB Point @ Destination with Inspection & Acceptance at Origin. Synopsis is required as request is suitable for competitive acquisition with three approved sources of supply; Boeing Company, Cage 76301; BAE Systems, Cage U9143; and HS Marston Aerospace, Cage U1603.
