- Notice of Intent for award of sole source contract modification for a Turbo Molecular Pump (TMP)-Controller Repair for the Air Force Research Laboratories (AFRL). THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE The AFNWC/PZIA Kirtland AFB, NM intends to solicit and negotiate a sole source contract modification to Trotec Solutions for the repair of a Mitsubishi FT3301WTS-061, turbo molecular pump. FA9401-13-P-0096 was awarded to Trotec Solutions to repair, refurbish, test, and reassemble the pump mechanism. During these services, it was identified the pump required repair because the controller was non-functioning. Anticipated date of modification is 10 December 2013. The FSC Code is J043, the NAICS Code is 811310 and the size standard is $7M. Any responses to this notice must demonstrate clear and convincing evidence that competition will be advantageous to the government, as well as capability to perform the repair.
