- Description
- River Street Entrance Slope Stabilization. Contractor shall furnish all supervision, tools, labor, materials, equipment and transportation necessary to complete the River Street Entrance Slope Stabilization at the VA Black Hills Center, at the Black Hills VA Medical Center-Hot Springs Campus located at 500 North 5th Street, Hot Springs, SD in preparation of River Street Entrance Slope Stabilization. Work includes, but is not limited to general construction, alterations, electrical, necessary demolition, tie-ins, restoration and certain other items necessary for the completion of this project. All work shall be performed in strict accordance with the terms, conditions, specifications and drawings of the solicitation (when available) and all applicable local and VA codes. The contractor excavating the project area and replace with engineered fill and geogrid to stabilize the area. Replace the asphalt, curb and gutter, bollards, and cable fence in the disturbed area. Topsoil and hydro-seed the disturbed slope. Solicitation Number VA263-14-Q-0661 for this effort will be posted to FedBizOpps (www.fedbizopps.gov) on or about December 9, 2013. This solicitation will contain all necessary specifications, drawings and other information necessary to bid the project. An Organized Site Visit will be held. (See solicitation for the date and time of the organized site visit). Quotations are tentatively scheduled to be due on Wednesday, January 29, 2013 (see solicitation when available for specific time/date). The Period of Performance is expected to be 30 calendar days from the receipt of notice to proceed. THIS SOLICITATION IS SET ASIDE FOR SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES (SDVOSBs) UNDER PUBLIC LAW 109-461. Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects: The estimated cost of the total project is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00.
