- Description
- The Military Sealift Command (MSC) Sealift Program Office (PM5) anticipates issuing a request for proposals (RFP) for the operation and maintenance of up to five U.S. flagged, self-sustaining Joint High Speed Vessels (JHSV). The resulting contract will be a Fixed-Price type with reimbursable elements. The anticipated performance start date is approximately mid-April 2015. The contract will include a base performance period of approximately five months, four one-year options and one seven-month option. These periods will be aligned to the Government's 30 Sep - 01 Oct fiscal year, with a total contract duration 60 months if all options are exercised. This contract requires the contractor to obtain and maintain a SECRET facilities clearance and to employ personnel with SECRET security clearances. It is anticipated this RFP will be posted to the MSC Contracting website on or about 20 December 2013. IMPORTANT: THE NUMBER ASSIGNED TO THIS PROCUREMENT HAS CHANGED. THE SOLICITATION WILL BE POSTED AS #N00033-14-R-5300.
