Description
Revised Attachment 1 (SOW) dated 3 December 2013 Reference Item for item 0308 The National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Marine Operations Center - Pacific (MOC-P) has a requirement for drydock repairs to the NOAA Vessel Rainier. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, transportation and services necessary to perform drydock repairs, except as noted in the Statement of Work. All work will be performed at the contractor's facility. The resulting contract shall include a period of performance for the duration of January 3, 2014 through March 5, 2014 (tentative). The proposed basic contract line items include but are not limited to: vessel dry docking, ABS loadline survey, underwater hull preservation, hull freeboard preservation, cathodic protection inspection, port and starboard rudder inspection, ventilation cleaning, main propulsion shafting and propeller inspection and repair, bow thruster inspection and repair, sea valve inspection and repair, potable water tank inspection/preservation, piping and valve repair, C-04 shower rearrangement, hot water and dydro-pneumatic tank preservation, port and starboard main sea water strainer repairs, multi-beam sounding system transducer replacement, steering system repair, annual fire inspections and maintenance, annual life raft inspections and repairs, ballast modifications, etc. The proposed contract is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The NAICS code for this procurement is 336611 and the small business size standard is 1,000 employees. Any resulting contract will be awarded on a firm-fixed-price basis. Solicitation documents will be made available for download on/about November 12, 2013 at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be issued. Interested parties should use the FedBizOpps [Add to Watch List] and [Add Me to Interested Vendors] features which provide notifications of when the solicitation becomes available for download to include additional information associated with the solicitation. Interested parties are responsible for accessing the FedBizOpps website to gain all current information related to the solicitation. The anticipated response due date for receipt of offers is December 13, 2013; however, the actual response date will be stated within the solicitation document.
