- This synopsis represents ACC-APG's intent to issue a Sole Source contract to The MITRE Corporation for continued engineering, technical, and management support services through the JASON Group from 31 January 2014 through 31 July 2014. The JASON Program, operated by the MITRE Corporation, is a public-private cooperative effort between the Department of Defense (DoD) and a group of private sector individuals - representatives span academia, senior scientists, engineers, and technical experts - who are brought together on a short-term basis to provide high-level technical and analytical subject matter expertise via studies and reports which are delivered to OASD(R&E) and other Government agency sponsors. The JASON group's collective expertise plays a vital role in supporting the overall mission of the DoD to understand how scientific research impacts national security. Interested parties may submit a Capabilities Statement by close of business (COB) 13 December 2013. The Capabilities Statement shall not exceed 10 pages and must provide a description of your abilities to perform the requested services.
