- Description
- General Services Administration (GSA), Northwest Arctic Region, intends to establish a Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract for Grounds Maintenance & Related Services at the U.S. Border Stations: Point Roberts, Lynden, Sumas, Blaine BPHQS & Annex, and Pacific Highway, located in Whatcom County, Washington. The period of performance is for a base period of one (1) year with four one-year option periods. The contractor shall provide all management, supervision, labor, materials, supplies, and equipment, and shall plan, schedule, coordinate, and assure effective performance of Grounds Maintenance & Related Services. The anticipated start date will be February 1, 2014. This acquisition will be issued IAW FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 15 Contracting by Negotiation. The acquisition will be conducted under a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 561730 with a Small Business Set-Aside size standard of $16.5 million. The solicitation will be available on or about December 17, 2013. All offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management database ( www.sam.gov ) prior to award. Offerors not already registered in SAM database are highly encouraged to register via Internet at http://www.sam.gov. In accordance with FAR 5.102, interested parties may access the solicitation at https://www.fbo.gov. This website provides instructions for downloading the solicitation file. It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor FedBizOpps for the release of the solicitation, any amendments and additional information. SOLICITATION ISSUE DATE: December 17, 2014 PROPOSAL DUE DATE/TIME: January 06, 2014 @ 4:00 PM A Pre-proposal conference and site visit date is to be determined but will announced no later than December 17th, 2013. The conference/site visit will commence with a conference at Pacific Highway followed by a site visit to Pacific Highway, Blaine Border Patrol HQ & Annex, Lynden and Peace Arch. There will be no visit to Point Roberts or Sumas Border Stations. Please forward any questions you may have prior to the conference so they may be discussed and addressed during the pre-proposal conference.
