- Description
- The Bureau of Reclamation, Pacific Northwest Region, Grand Coulee Power Office has a requirement for shoreline erosion control at Hidden Beach in Washington State. The principal components of the work to be performed under these specifications include: (1) clearing; (2) excavation to include excavation, backfill, and compacting backfill; (3) furnishing and installing gabion baskets; (4) furnishing and placing geotextile filter fabric between the backfill and gabion baskets, between the existing slope face and the backfill, and extending under gabion foundation; (5) furnishing and placing geotextile filter fabric between existing ground and riprap; (6) furnishing and installing fabric encapsulated soil lifts; furnishing and installing galvanized steel (7) access stairs, includes furnishing and placing concrete footings; furnishing and placing riprap at the toe of the gabion wall and under the access stairs; (8) furnishing and installing coconut erosion control blankets under access stairs; seeding areas where topsoil will be applied; (9) furnishing and placing gravel surfacing on existing access road; (10) furnishing and placing willow stakes between soil lift layers; (11) furnishing and placing wild rose and willow bushes along edge of topsoil layer; (12)furnishing and placing boulders across existing access road; cutting two existing pine trees to existing ground and applying stump killer; (13) and constructing 1 van accessible parking space and furnishing and placing a concrete walkway to meet current Americans with Disability Act Architectural Barriers Act Accessibility Guidelines - Architectural Barriers Act Accessibility Standards (ADAABAAG-ABAAS). The worksite is located on the NE of Section 7, Range 37 E, Township 28 N, on the north shore of the Spokane arm of Lake Roosevelt in Stevens County, Columbia Basin Project, Washington. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code associated with this project is 237990. The small business size standard applicable to this project is $33.5 million in gross annual receipts averaged over the previous three 1-year accounting periods. The order of magnitude for this project is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. This procurement is being advertised as a Total Small Business Set Aside. Offers will be accepted from all responsive and responsible small business concerns. Prospective contractors shall be registered the System for Acquisition Management (SAM).
