- This sources sought is issued solely for information, planning purposes and market research in accordance with FAR Part 10. This sources sought is seeking interest from all concerns capable and interested in performing elevator maintenance, repair, and inspection services at Fort Riley, Kansas. All responses will be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for a future acquisition that may or may not occur. No award will be made from this sources sought. A solicitation is not available; therefore, a solicitation request will not be responded to. The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Riley at this time is not seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Riley is seeking sources, especially small businesses, that are capable of providing all of the necessary services for elevator maintenance, repair, and inspection. These services include, but are not limited to management, supervision, personnel, administration, transportation, supplies, material, maintenance, repair parts, tools, and test equipment necessary to perform preventive maintenance (PM), full load safety test and inspection, emergency call-back service, service calls and all other repairs (example lighting). There are approximately thirty-one (31) passenger elevators, three (3) handicap elevators, one (1) freight elevator, seventeen (17) handicap lifts and nine (9) freight lifts and related equipment to be serviced on Fort Riley, Kansas. For market research purposes this is a requirements type contract. This will not be lump sum; instead the project will be completed through the issuance of delivery orders. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 811310, Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment Repair and Maintenance and the small business size standard is $7M. Interested sources are requested to submit by email or regular mail all delineating qualifications, capabilities, and experience for providing these services. Sources must sufficiently demonstrate the capability to perform these services and must provide detailed experience, capabilities and qualifications in all previous work pertinent to this effort. Your business size shall be included with your submittal. Please provide the following information in your submittal: Companies: name, address, point of contact name, email address, telephone and fax numbers, business size/type (Small, Large, Veteran-Owned, 8(a), HUBZone, SDB, JWOD, Woman-Owned, etc.), Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number, Commercial And Government Entity (CAGE) Code, email address, website (if applicable), experience, and an overview of your company. Interested parties shall be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) with applicable NAICS Code. Any information provided is voluntary. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this notice and submittals will not be returned to the sender.
