- Notice of Intent to Award for Aspire Nerve Stimulator Generator Pursuant to FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b)(1), the U.S. Army, MEDCOM, Western Regional Contracting Office(WRCO), Tacoma, WA, intends to issue a sole source award to Cyberonics in the amount of $30,000.00 for a one time purchase of the Cyberonics Aspire Nerve Stimulator Generator that will be used in a patient specific surgery in the Department of Anesthesia and Operative Service, (DOAOS) at Madigan Army Medical Center (MAMC), Joint Base Lewis-McCord (JBLM), WA. The surgeon has determined that this specific product would best meet the individual patient medical needs/requirements. All products must be FDA Approved. This notice is not a request for proposal and no solicitation will be issued. Any firm that believes it can provide the stated supplies/equipment can provide supporting documents demonstrating their products capability and specifications. Responses received will be used for future acquisitions. Information can be sent to the Purchasing Agent Ms. Kendre Green, kendre.m.green.civ@mail.mil. No telephone or facsimile requests will be accepted. This procurement will be prepared in accordance with FAR Part 13, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
