- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD The 802 Contracting Squadron intends to issue a sole source firm fixed priced purchase order to GE Healthcare Institute, N16 W22419 Watertown Rd Waukesha, WI 53186, for the purchase of Lightspeed CT Training. The justification for this procurement is that GE HEALTHCARE INSTITUTE is the sole source and the current provider of this training. It is to the advantage of the Government to continue the purchase from this company for the continuation of training on preexisting equipment. The acquisition of this specific product from this vendor will substantially increase the deployment capabilities of the unit. The statutory authority permitting other-than-full-and-open competition is FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) - Soliciting From a Single Source. Only one responsible source at this time will satisfy agency requirements. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. Requirements for this purchase: ITEM Quan Unit 0001 R0026CT- Lightspped Pro Advanced Course for Lightspeed Pro 16/Ultra/Plus 1 EA 0002 CAT# R0010CT - CT Basic Physics/insturmentation (Web) 1 EA 0003 CAT# R0031CT - CT Lightspeed Pro Advanced Service (Web) 1 EA 0004 CAT# R0901CM - Troubleshooting Basics Service (Web) 1 EA 0005 CAT# R0907CM - Networking and Dicom Basic for DI Service (Web) 1 EA A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract will be based on responses to this notice and is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for informational purposes. This procurement is not set-aside for small business and the intent of this procurement is to award based on ready availability and cost. The proposed contract action is for commercial items which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source. The anticipated award date is October 2, 2013. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-70 and DFARS Change Notice 20130909, Standard Industrial Code 6640, North American Industry Classification System Code 334516 and Size Standard of 500 employees apply to this procurement.
