- Description
- The United States Postal Service made Award of Solicitation 104267-13-A-0005, a national Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contract for Advanced Metering and Controls for Energy Management. The Advanced Metering and Controls for Energy Management provides USPS the capability to monitor and control HVAC systems in USPS facilities utilizing software on a server(s) located at the USPS Data Center in Eagan, MN. The software is capable of allowing the USPS not only to collect data from all modules, but also allow control functions e.g., adjusting temperature set points, RTU schedules, etc. Subcontracting goals for this project are: Small Business 29.8, Minority Business 5.0%, and Women Owned Business 5.7%. The contract was awarded to GridPoint, Inc., 2801 Clarendon Boulevard, Suite 100, Arlington, VA 22201. The initial contract is for a two (2)-year base period and up to two (2) - two (2) year renewal option periods.
