- The Department of Justice, Justice Management Division, awarded a sole source purchase order to C Forbes under the authority of FAR 13.106-1 as an urgent and compelling requirement for the delivery of award devices. C Forbes, Inc. owns the approved die cast for the production of the award devices. C Forbes was issued a sole source purchase order on an urgent and compelling basis in order to meet the required ordering and delivery timeframe. C Forbes guarantees delivery of coins by 10-6-13. This Special Notice is not a Request for Quote. A determination by the Government to not compete this award was based solely within the discretion of the Government.
