- This Special Notice is for comments/questions regarding the draft PWS only. The Solicitation and final supporting documents will be posted at a later date. All responses must be received by 28 August 2013. The 409th Contracting Support Brigade's Theater Contracting Center in Kaiserslautern, Germany intends to solicit and award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract to provide Dining Facility (DFAC) Series to Support U.S. Army Garrisons in Germany. The contractor will be responsible to provide qualified personnel, to include supervision and transportation, to successfully perform all services pertaining to Contract cook (Food Production) and Lead cook in dining facilities throughout Europe. The acquisition will be unrestricted: All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the government. This notice does not obligate the government to award a contract nor does it obligate the government to pay for any proposal preparation costs. Prospective offerors must have or obtain a DUNS number http://fedgov.dnb.com/webform, be registered with SAM website https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM, Wide Area Work Flow https://wawf.eb.mil/. Perspective offerors are responsible for monitoring the ASFI and/or FedBizOpps websites for release of the solicitation package and downloading the solicitation package, any amendments, and any other pertinent information.
