- Description
- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award a fixed price modification to purchase order 200-2012-M-53211 issued to Vida Health Communication Inc of Westwood, MA. The modification will add a "Nurses' Voices" video to the on-line course being developed to present workplace violence prevention strategies for all healthcare workers. This procurement action is for a service for which the Government intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). Interested businesses may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This purchase order is for a commercial service and procedures in FAR Parts 12 and 13 apply. Award will be made using Simplified Acquisition Procedures found in FAR Part 13. The NAICS code for this action is 519130 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all quotations/responses received within seven (7) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. All vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov, prior to an award of a federal contract. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
