- This is a Sources Sought Synopsis and may or may not result in the issuance of the Request for Quotes (RFQ). A solicitation is not being issued at this time and this notice shall not be construed as commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. Any interested party that believes it can meet the following requirement must give written notification to the Contract Specialist, Brian K. Engle, no later than 7:00am on 20 August 2013. The 633d Contracting Squadron, Langley AFB, VA is seeking possible sources to provide routine and emergency maintenance services for the EPS 6300 Uninterruptible Power System located on Langley AFB, Virginia under NAICS code: 811212. Interested parties are requested to submit a statement of capability including; a point of contact, business status, business size and a detailed description of services (including certifications for the UPS) with information on how the services meet the specific requirements. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This requirement is for routine and emergency maintenance service on: MODEL: EPS 6300 CONFIGURATION: EPS 6300 / 44,66 INPUT VOLTAGE (VAC): 480 OUTPUT VOLTAGE (VAC): 480 OUTPUT RATING (kVA/kW): 300 / 240 INPUT CB (Amps): 600 TOTAL WIDTH (mm/in): 1610 /63.5 TOTAL WEIGHT (kg/lb): 2514 / 5543 HEAT LOSS (Btu/hr): 52269 AIR FLOW (CFM/m^3/mm): 2500 / 70 Additionally, factory certified parts and equipment with one year on-site warranty including labor and travel will be required; Emergency response must be within four hours of notification with availability required 24 hours per day, seven days per week; and, Location of UPS is on Langley Air Force Base, Virginia, 23665.
